Services Built for Clarity & Effectiveness

We offer a focused range of services designed to help organisations operate with greater clarity and effectiveness. Each service area is supported by an experienced team and a structured delivery methodology.

Rather than offering broad, generic solutions, we invest time in understanding the specific context of each client — their industry, their objectives, and the constraints they work within. This ensures that every engagement produces work that is directly applicable and measurable.

Digital Transformation

Technology alone does not transform organisations — the way people adopt and apply technology does. Our digital transformation advisory combines technical understanding with change management expertise to ensure that new systems and processes are effectively embedded.

We guide organisations from initial readiness assessment through to full implementation, maintaining focus on practical outcomes rather than technology for its own sake.

  • Process Mapping Detailed documentation and analysis of existing workflows as the foundation for digitalization planning.
  • System Integration Planning Architecture and sequencing guidance for connecting new and existing systems without operational disruption.
  • Data Governance Establishing policies, ownership frameworks, and standards for data quality and management across the organisation.
  • Digital Readiness Assessment Structured evaluation of an organisation's people, processes, and technology capabilities before transformation begins.
  • Change Management Planning and execution support to help teams adapt to new ways of working with confidence and clarity.

Organisational Development

Strong organisations are built from the inside out. Our organisational development practice works at the intersection of structure, culture, and capability — helping leadership teams build environments where people can perform consistently at a high level.

We draw on established frameworks and practical experience to diagnose challenges, design targeted interventions, and build internal capability that persists beyond the duration of any single engagement.

  • Leadership Development Structured programmes and coaching to strengthen leadership capability across functions and seniority levels.
  • Team Effectiveness Assessment and targeted development of team dynamics, communication, and collaborative output quality.
  • Capability Frameworks Designing competency models and talent management structures aligned to organisational strategy.

How We Work

Our Engagement Process

01
Initial Consultation

A structured conversation to understand your context, objectives, and constraints. No obligation — designed to ensure a clear mutual fit before any commitment is made.

02
Assessment & Planning

Deep-dive analysis of the current state, followed by a detailed engagement plan with defined milestones, deliverables, team composition, and timeline.

03
Implementation

Structured delivery of agreed outputs, with regular check-ins, transparent reporting, and adaptive adjustment as required. Clear accountability at every stage.

04
Review & Continuity

Formal review of outcomes against objectives, followed by a continuity plan — whether that is an extended partnership, knowledge transfer, or periodic advisory support.

Common Questions

We work with mid-to-large organisations across both the private and public sectors in Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Our clients include listed companies, subsidiaries of multinational corporations, government agencies, and established private enterprises. We are best suited to organisations that have defined challenges and a genuine commitment to structured improvement — not just those seeking a report to fulfil an obligation.

The process begins with an initial consultation — a structured conversation, typically 60–90 minutes, where we listen to your context and objectives. You do not need to prepare detailed materials in advance. It helps to have a clear sense of the challenge you are trying to solve, even if that is not yet fully articulated. After the consultation, we will provide a brief written summary and a proposed scope for the assessment phase, at no obligation.

Our pricing is always agreed in advance and clearly documented in the engagement letter. We offer both fixed-fee project engagements and retainer arrangements depending on the nature and duration of the work. Fixed-fee is most common for defined projects with clear deliverables and timelines. Retainers suit ongoing advisory relationships where the scope evolves over time. We do not operate on time-and-materials without a defined cap, and we avoid pricing models that create incentives for extended engagements beyond what the client genuinely needs.

This varies significantly by service type and scope. A focused diagnostic assessment can be completed in four to six weeks. A full consulting or transformation project typically runs three to six months. Organisational development programmes often extend to twelve months or more when building genuine internal capability is the goal. We will always provide a clear timeline estimate at the proposal stage, including key milestones, and flag any dependencies that could affect the schedule early in the process.

Yes. Our head office is in Roppongi, Tokyo, and the majority of our consulting team is based in Japan. We deliver work in both Japanese and English, and most of our senior consultants are fully bilingual. For international engagements or clients with multilingual requirements, we draw on our regional network to ensure language is never a barrier to clear communication and effective delivery. All documentation and reporting can be provided in your preferred language.
